Accurately calculate your SSC MTS exam scores for both sessions
Calculate your SSC MTS exam scores accurately for both sessions
The Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff (SSC MTS) exam follows a specific marking scheme that candidates must understand to calculate their scores accurately. This calculator is designed specifically for both sessions of the SSC MTS exam.
The SSC MTS exam has two sessions with different sections and marking schemes. Both sessions must be completed to qualify.
Session I has no negative marking, while Session II deducts 1 mark for each wrong answer. Unanswered questions don't affect your score.
Session I: (Correct Answers × 3)
Session II: (Correct Answers × 3) - (Wrong Answers × 1)
Total Score = Session I + Session II
The cutoff varies each year based on difficulty level and number of candidates. Typically, the cutoff ranges between 130-160 marks for general category candidates.
Our specialized calculator makes it easy to determine your SSC MTS exam score for both sessions:
Maximize your score with these strategic approaches:
Try to solve every question within 45 seconds in each section to complete all questions within 90 minutes.
There are no negative marks in SSC MTS Session I; however, try to attempt more questions. If you are less confident in any question, just take a chance and do not skip it.
The second session of the MTS exam is important for all aspirants; however, solve only those questions for which you are 100% sure, and focus more on General Awareness as it carries more weight and has factual answers.
Try to solve at least 5 years' previous papers to understand the exam pattern and difficulty level.
Exam Duration: Each session is 90 minutes long. For PwD candidates, additional time is provided as per government norms.
Cutoff Trends: Recent cutoffs have ranged from 135 to 165 marks for general category candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates who clear the written exam proceed to document verification. There is no interview for MTS positions.
